Welcome to Aunty Tabby's Island Flavors! Tabetha Phillips, the owner and creator, originates from Kingston, Jamaica, where her love for food blossomed from a young age. With more than two decades in the food industry, Tabetha has honed her craft and developed a range of sauces that embody the essence of her Jamaican heritage.

Drawing inspiration from her passion for barbecuing, Tabetha merged her homeland's distinctive flavors with the rich smokiness of BBQ. The result is Aunty Tabby's Guava BBQ Sauce, a meticulously crafted creation that encapsulates the spirit of Jamaican cuisine with a tantalizing twist. Complementing this are her hot sauces, available in pineapple and hibiscus flavors, showcasing the diverse tastes of her island.

Prior to her journey to California, Tabetha found success as the co-owner of Blue Ridge Restaurant and Cottages, nestled in Jamaica's picturesque Blue Mountains. This experience further refined her ability to create delectable dishes that harmonized with the tranquil mountain landscape.

GIVING BACK

Aunty Tabby's is a business with a heart, as it believes in giving back to the community in meaningful ways. One of the initiatives close to Aunty Tabby's heart is supporting youth programs at the Freedom Skatepark in Bull Bay, Jamaica. 

Jamaica is no stranger to challenges, and unfortunately, it has been grappling with a high murder rate for decades and is currently the second highest in the world. However, Aunty Tabby is determined to make a difference and help to provide the youth with a positive outlet through the Freedom Skatepark.

The Freedom Skatepark acts as a safe space for the young people of Bull Bay and neighboring communities, offering them the opportunity to engage in exciting physical and educational activities. Through the provision of youth programs, Freedom Skatepark aims to help to redirect the focus and energy of the youth toward more constructive and fulfilling endeavors.

These programs are run by Freedom Skatepark Foundation of which she serves as a board member.

By supporting these youth programs, Aunty Tabby's business not only contributes to their personal growth but also helps to create a sense of community and empowerment. These programs range from skateboarding lessons  and competitions to mentorship opportunities and educational initiatives.

Aunty Tabby understands the importance of investing in the next generation and providing them with opportunities to thrive, despite the challenges they may face within their community.
